Dark Chocolate S'mores Bars

Base Layer

2 cups oat flour (like Bob's Red Mill)

1/3 cup tahini

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Chocolate Layer

3/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips (like Enjoy Life Foods)

2 Tbsp creamy almond butter (if using unsalted, add a pinch of salt)


4.5oz bag of SMASHMALLOW flavor of your choice

Step 1 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease or spray a 9"x9" pan.

Step 2
Mix all ingredients for base, then press into the greased pan. Bake for 14 minutes.

Step 3
While base is cooking, cut marshmallows in half. Then melt chocolate carefully in the microwave by heating for 30 seconds at a time and stirring in between until fully melted. Stir in almond butter.

Step 4
Remove base from oven and switch from bake to broil. Pour chocolate mixture over the base, ensuring complete coverage.

Step 5
Top the chocolate layer with the halved marshmallows. Broil for 2-3 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.

Step 6
Allow to cool for a few minutes, then cut and enjoy!
